Holiday Lodge on Canyon Lake

The hotel is inexpensive, but located near the Overlook Park, where you can walk along the dam overlooking the lake and the public trail along the Guadeloupe river with free parking. We took tacos to feed the deer that came every day in the late afternoon on the hotel lawn. The kitchenette is small, but has everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom is renovated, with a good shower and water pressure. The owner Mark is very kind. Rooms with two beds are all on the ground floor, each equipped with air conditioning for single room. Rooms with one king size bed on the second. Very nice outdoor area. Book shelves with selection of books and card game are excellent. Wi - Fi is ok. Room is clean and quiet.||It would be desirable to add a shelf in the bathroom to place various accessories

This is such a cozy place to stay! Booked a room for a night for a friend's wedding at a nearby venue and honestly would love to go back for a longer stay. The rooms are beautiful, super cozy, and well stocked for all your possible needs. We got a king room with a lake view and the view from the balcony was lovely. The service was also incredible! Would be amazing for a quiet getaway

I was blown away by the place! Super clean and the staff is very nice. This was the perfect location as I was traveling alone this weekend to float the river with my friends and it was a very easy drive with so much to do around. The room was spacious and the cleanest place I have ever stayed at and the bathroom looked newly renovated with different speeds to the shower i loved after the long day on the river! The deer outside were a shock and I loved them! It is a very peaceful place and I will be back! I have already suggested this motel to alot of my friends and this was probably the BEST PLACE to stay! Thank you to the staff and this place for existing!

We recently stayed at the Holiday Lodge on Canyon Lake and really enjoyed the accommodations. We were on the first floor and the room was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. There is a very nice picnic area on site for those that want to grill. The location was perfect for us, with several nice restaurants located in close proximity. It's in a beautiful setting with a view of the lake over the ridge, a herd of deer that visit several times a day, and a very sweet cat who likes to stop by to say hello. There is parking directly outside the door; very convenient if a member of your party has mobility issues. It's very quiet, peaceful, and restful. We enjoyed three nights at this lodge, and absolutely loved every minute. The view of Canyon Lake from the deck is breathtaking, with just a short two minute walk to Boat Ramp and dock #1. Mark, the owner, is courteous, hospitable, and respectful. Every room has been plushly renovated with all the comforts of home. The interior decor is romantically inviting, and kept immaculately clean. The hotel grounds include a large family picnic area with many grills and tables. We saw several deer come right on the property. The surrounding location included wonderful restaurants, hiking trails and boating. We can't wait to return to the Holiday Lodge at Canyon Lake!
