Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona Beach on the Ocean by IHG

I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Daytona Beach, FL. The location is perfect, right on the Atlantic, offering breathtaking ocean views that make the trip truly memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. A special thank you to Susan and Terica for their outstanding hospitality and warm, friendly attitude — they truly made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Daytona Beach!

The best thing about this hotel is its oceanfront location—you can hear the waves from your room if you leave the window open, which is amazing. The rooms are renovated, but our bathroom had an old bathtub with a fixed showerhead and a curtain, which I personally don’t like. On the website photos, they show renovated bathtubs and showers, but in reality, ours was not like that. One major downside was the terrible smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the corridor, even though the hotel claims to be 100% smoke-free. Fortunately, our room didn’t smell, but management really needs to address this issue. The air conditioner was very old and loud, and the balcony looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We stayed here for an event at the Ocean Center and had a great stay! We had an ocean view room with a balcony. The room was clean and spacious. We even saw liftoff of a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral 60 miles south from the balcony which is always thrilling. The waves were soothing at night. Note that during high tide, the beach really shrinks as the waves get pretty close to the seawalls. This hotel is at the end of the driving portion of the beach so not many cars come by as they seem to exit prior to reaching the hotel. The water temp was 71 degrees which was too cold for us Floridians to swim, but tourists were in the water.|Parking spots can be tight in places as there are some customers with giant cars and trucks sometimes making it difficult to back out of spaces. I loved everything about this hotel! After my initial stay, I came back a couple of weeks later for another 4 night stay. |Location, perfect! On the Ocean with great views and a 15 minute walk to the Boardwalk with shops & restaurants along the way.|Restaurant & Bar onsite. Beautiful, well kept pool & pool area with direct gated access to the beach. I enjoyed a made to order breakfast each morning with very attentive servers Kimberly & Clarice.
