Holiday Inn Morgantown - Reading Area by IHG

Visited with my sister everything was beautiful rooms were clean. They have an indoor pool and a bar. They have Hollywood casino across the street and of course a couple of minutes away is shady Maple smorgasbord as well as the shady maple meat market, which we visited on our last day to take home the great Cell they had there. Make sure you leave Room in your trunk to go to the market. It was amazing! It was the quiet we needed it, but it was still things around for us to do and it was very fast efficient and everything was so clean.

Positive: Everyone is so Friendly. Check in and out staff very pleasant! There was the best bartender. Enjoyed seeing hotel employees at morning breakfast. Negative: The air conditioning unit in the room was VERY noisy.

We stayed for two nights at the Holiday Inn Morgantown. It has all the makings of a great hotel, but you can tell it's been neglected for years. Our room was clean, but dusted and in need of renovation. The halls also needed new rugs and paint, all the doors are scratched, and just shows wear. |It has a beautiful lobby, nice pool, nice bar area, but the halls all look neglected. Our family had a renovated room, and looked quite good, but you can clearly tell ours was not. Bathroom was decent, renovated perhaps a few years ago, fixtures were nice, but definitely needed new paint. |The exterior building itself looked fine, but the parking lot was worn, and absolutely no landscaping or anything to make it look nice. Nothing |Room was clean when we arrived, but we're severely disappointed

Hot tub. Clean pool and rooms. Great prices. I received every courtesy I could imagine. Excellent location. Near Amish. Maple Grove drag races. Casino. Stagecoach barbaque restaurant, and Classic Auto Mall. To name a few. Top service. Some of the best I have ever received.

This is an ok hotel. They have a nice restaurant on the lower level. The restaurant has a good chicken cheesesteak and excellent salmon. The workout room is great. It has free weights up to 50 and a nice cable machine. Interesting hotel design with the pool in a central area that floor to ceiling windows in most rooms look out to. The rooms have a cleaner / musty smell that didn't sit well with me. The air conditioner and the mini fridge in the rooms are quite loud when they turn on and off. It will interrupt your sleep if you're a light sleeper and you don't just turn them off or unplug them.
