Holiday Inn Express Syracuse Airport by IHG

This hotel saved our day after a spending disappointing night before at a shady hotel called Cresthill Suites in East Syracuse. We loved its super convenient location to the airport, the interior and the rooms were newly renovated. Everything was clean and tidy. The young man worked at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My wife just had a minor surgery and needed to rest. By our request, he managed to find us a quiet room down the hall on the second floor. The only complaint we had was regarding the AC in our room. It seemed to reset itself after midnight from heat to cold, which woke us up in the middle of the night. Also, the location of this hotel is kinda hidden away from the street. Stayed here for 1 night- less than 6 hours, due to flight schedules. Was called about being too loud after I barely walked in (I had been in the building for less than 10 minutes). Thought it was ridiculous, then heard the neighbors upstairs… it’s just a loud hotel. Footsteps are loud. The music outside was loud. The music inside was loud. There’s absolutely no soundproofing. ||The hotel was also overbooked. We escaped by confirming earlier in the day, but we did get involved in an interaction where someone was being turned away before/during/after I was checking in. I stayed silent and inconvenienced myself to get out of it (they said I was part of a block there for the weekend, and I had to schedule my shuttle to leave in a few hours). ||It was clean. Positive: The cleanliness, location and breakfast were great! I appreciated having a fridge and microwave in my hotel room. The sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious and I enjoyed the fresh coffee made by the cup. Negative: I was disappointed with the cable tv and the poor selection of channels. The option to ?cast? to the TV didn?t work, nor did Netflix.

Jan 2025 It was a quick night stay because of flight delay. Hotel looks renovated recently but elevator is still old one and make noise. I called and got the Airport shuttle within 10 min which was great. One of the best option near the Airport.

Myka was amazing , she assisted us on our 2 rooms. She made sure we got accessible rooms to elevator. She assisted us on IHG rewards issues. She is awesome with above and beyond services Rooms are nice Breakfast is ok Parking is great Good location to hit freeway, few restaurants near by and real close to airport
