Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Long Branch - Eatontown by IHG

Relatively decent hotel. All frozen reheated breakfast. But at least there is hot food a lot of hotels in the area do not give. Tv worked well but braught a fire stick. Internet can be better but it is sufficiant. May need a better cleaning in the shower floor. Front desk sometimes a bit of an issue with some workers. But not all. Will stay again

This was our second stay at this hotel and if they keep doing what they are doing, we will keep returning. When booking they gave me an upgrade to a suite for like $10 more so I had to take that offer. Best decision. It was a king suite. Plenty of room, 2 rooms, big bathroom, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the morning and is quite good and plenty of options. Even came in and fixed bed and gave us fresh towels and cleaned up a bit so it was nice coming back to see that. Hotel itself it very clean inside and everyone is very friendly. We enjoyed both our stays here and hope to continue that trend.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Reasonably priced accommodations not too far from Long Branch train station. Last stop on the line from Penn Station and access to North Jersey Shore. ||Not too much around. Shopping center and car dealership with a Dunkin Donuts across the street. ||Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. For the price point vs other options, I’d stay again. Close to Rte 36 which goes west to east to the beach.

The room and the hotel were excellent; however, the experience with the staff was disappointing. The staff in the lobby were very rude, and the woman at the front desk communicated in a disrespectful manner and seemed unhappy with her job. Additionally, despite the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign being displayed, the service staff continued to knock and disturb us. I believe management needs to work on improving the staff, as their behavior left an unpleasant impression and negatively affected our overall stay. I have previously stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels, and enjoyed those experiences. However there were several issues that spoiled my stay at this one. The first issue occurred on the second day of my stay when the HVAC unit in the living room area of my suite stopped working upon my return that evening. I decided to wait until the next morning to report it to the front desk, as the unit in the bedroom was sufficient for the night. The failed unit was never repaired. The electrical outlet by the bathroom vanity never functioned, which I considered a minor inconvenience, but I reported it during checking out. The k-cups for the Keurig machine were not always replenished. The TV remotes did not always function properly. However the bed was very comfortable, as were the sofa & chair in th
