Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tomah by IHG

I have stayed and will continue staying at this Holiday Inn Express in Tomah. It by far exceeds all my expectations. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this by far is one of the best I have come across. What actually makes it the best is Sara who is a general manager here. She is so accommodating and so welcoming. From my first phone call here to my first stay and dealing with her I knew this was the place for me. She is professional and so kind. She has made me feel this is my home away from home. Her service here has been above and beyond what I could ask for. She is an asset to this hotel and I look forward to my many more stays here. Our room was extremely clean, the front desk staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and the lobby & pool are really nice. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty and this location should do whatever is necessary to make sure Laura, the breakfast lady, stays employed! My little girl is a chatterbox and Laura not only was kind to her, she kept her chatting and occupied so I could grab breakfast, coffee and get some bites in. Not only was she gracious enough to do this, she was super friendly, kind, funny and I noticed she was cleaning things around her while she chatted - a multitasking queen! We will definitely be back to this location!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Did not get to enjoy the good looking breakfast. Pool was a little small.

I really enjoy staying here because it’s consistently quiet and clean—my two top priorities. The breakfast is decent, though some more varied fruit options would be a great addition. However, my biggest disappointment during my last two stays has been the hot tub. It’s been consistently lukewarm rather than hot. When you're looking forward to a soak at the end of the day, the temperature really misses the mark. I’d love to keep coming back, but I hope the maintenance team can remedy that.

I've stayed at a few Holiday Inn locations across 6 states. This location surprised me by being the best! The room was clean and smelled fresh. The TV was on a standby mode and said welcome "wife's name". Key card door systems. Modern looking art on wall and a artsy display on the window shade. Walk in shower with a relaxing shower head. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast was really good too. Scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, cold breakfast options and even mini cheese omelets among other options as well! The front desk staff were all professional and friendly. Comfortable bed. The whole building appears to be newer, modern looking. I would definitely book again!
