Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sheldon, an IHG Hotel

My family and I were traveling through last week. We love staying at this hotel. Their pool and breakfast are amazing! The staff is always friendly. Brianna was at the front desk this time and she was calm, professional and very helpful, even though the hotel seemed pretty busy. She was also great when she took our reservation over the phone. We will always go out of our way to stop in at this hotel when we are traveling through Iowa!

The staff greeted as we entered the property. Our room was lovely! Bed was comfortable, the lounger was a plus, the bathroom was well lit and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of options. The staff was attentive and was refilling as needed. You won't regret staying at this location!

Hotel was very dirty and the staff was rude. We had higher expectations for a hotel brand that is known nationwide. The pool was decent. The yard was covered in trash. The room was "ok". It was definitely clean, but was just a basic, normal budget type room. We were going to extend, but left and went to the Cobblestone right next door after one night and we were very pleased for a hotel we had not heard of as much as Holliday Inn.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sheldon! Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sheldon (201 34th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201) and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and well kept, and the staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. My room was quiet and comfortable, with a great bed and everything working exactly as it should. Breakfast was a nice bonus—fresh, well stocked, and a good variety to start the day. If you’re passing through Sheldon and want a reliable, comfortable place to stay, I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The staff is what made our stay amazing. They take hospitality to the next level! From friendly housekeeping, kitchen staff, and front desk! What a great group. Clean rooms, great breakfast, large pool, and hot tub. Especially Rose and Jordan! The staff at Sheldon is amazing 👏
