Holiday Inn Express & Suites North East by IHG

A truly remarkable experience at this Holiday Inn Express, which was the very first place we pulled over when we needed help. We arrived with our 7-year-old in the middle of a serious meltdown and needed to call for assistance. Bri at the front desk was incredibly calm, compassionate, and completely non-judgmental. She helped us immediately and treated us with grace during a very stressful moment. The officers who arrived were gentle and reassuring, turning what could have been overwhelming into a moment of care and safety. We stayed the night and extended our stay. Jay, the manager, was wonderful, and the next morning the front desk staff helped us search for lost car keys with warmth, kindness, and shared laughter about motherhood. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in North East, MD superseded my expectations. The hotel is very clean, well kept and the service is excellent.||We were getting in late at night and I called to let the hotel know. I spoke to Jade at the front desk and she was very helpful in answering my questions. I was pleasantly surprised that she referenced our conversation earlier in the evening upon our arrival and check-in.||I liked that there was coffee & tea 24/7 and the dining area where breakfast would be served was immaculate. ||The next morning, I met Julia, who was responsible for getting the breakfast ready and making sure the dining area was kept neat, tidy and clean. Check in was smooth, we had a wheelchair accessible room so it was quite large which meant a lot of empty floor space (neither good nor bad, just different looking). The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The shower was large and very nice. The only milk available at breakfast was whole, but we got down towards the end so maybe they'd already run out of other choices. We only had cereal, but the selection of hot food and cold foods was good.

Straight up 5 star review for a cost effective hotel. I was driving from Raleigh, NC to Boston when my hands started clinching up, making it unsafe to drive much longer. After I guzzled a couple mustard packets at the Chesapeake House to relieve the seizing I called the hotel, there was one room left that fit my request so I zipped over in 5 min and got the room. The attendant, who was very kind, went above and beyond to secure all the qualified discounts. The room is clean and has all the features I like. I'm sure I'll enjoy the free breakfast, which is always substantial enough to add considerable value

Jade at the front desk was amazing at check in and accommodated all of our family members with haste in a time of our need she was very knowledgeable gave us discounts that we qualified for help us with the Wi-Fi password gave us extra towels Xtra ice bags very patient with my 3 year old grandbaby has a wonderful selection for continental breakfast 24/7 coffee a variety sausage eggs pancakes waffles bacon sausage links sausage patties omelettes veggie omelette cheese omelets regular egg omelettes fresh fruits fresh juice the breakfast was amazing Hotel was clean didn't have the closed up room smell staff was beyond amazing delivery for food was fast and amazing it's all super close to the hotel Walmart's not very far everything's within vicinity definitely recommend if you're looking for a
