Holiday Inn Express & Suites

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel, mainly due to the front desk service. The older woman working the front desk was extremely rude from the moment I arrived. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, she came across as dismissive and unprofessional. What made things worse was that I was charged additional fees that were never clearly explained or justified. It felt like these charges were made up on the spot, which is completely unacceptable. When I tried to ask questions, I was met with attitude instead of any effort to resolve the issue. Customer service is a huge part of any hotel experience, and unfortunately this place failed badly. I would not recommend staying here unless they make serious improvements in how they treat their guests and handle billing.

Check-in was very easy and we were able to use a discount card and get a reasonable rate for our room. The room was very nice and had all the necessary amenities. Their breakfast had sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy and all the stuff for a continental breakfast, very satisfying. It was a little off the interstate, but not bad.

This location was fine. Nothing impressive, but the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. I've stayed at better Holiday Inn's. The lobby has a mildew smell. Maybe because the hot tub was broken. The breakfast did not have near the selection that other IHG locations offer. No recognition for IHG status at all.

This hotel does not adhere to IHG or HIE requirements. I did not have a coffee maker in my room, no amenity points until I asked about them, nor do they abide by green stay points. Desk agent was polite and apologetic, gave me "bonus" points for amenity points. Costa coffee makers in the lobby are NOT replacements for in-room coffee makers. I have reported this location to IHG and will not return. STAYER BEWARE.... Edit: they do not willingly email receipts either.

This hotel is extremely clean, the staff was extremely helpful! They have a wonderful breakfast and beautiful sitting area. Wonderful!
