Holiday Inn Express & Suites Moundsville, an IHG Hotel

Stayed for a few weeks and the entire stay was exceptional and very welcoming. Dave was spectacular keeping the public areas spotless and tidy. The rooms were cleaned nicely, and Kyra at the front desk was very friendly and a joy. The breakfasts were delicious and well maintained. All-in-all a great experience

Positive: Clean Negative: I booked as part of a birthday getaway for my sister. The pool was important to us. I could have stayed significantly cheaper had I booked without a pool. Your pool was closed. Also the breakfast had been in the warmer way too long. We ate at 8:30 am

We stayed here for a wedding. I dealt with Amanda Gump for all our room blocks, questions, ect. She was wonderful to us, so accommodating. She made this experience stress free. We were greeted the morning of the wedding by Dave Wise who was so helpful, even helped clean the snow from our car. He went above and beyond and we are so thankful! Overall all of the staff we dealt with was so nice. We had a great experience here.

Best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. Rooms are very clean, free washer and dryer, outside sitting area and grilling area are great. Staff is super accommodating, Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was well above average for hotel breakfast. If your in the area and need a stay I 100% recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting family during Thanksgiving. It is a newer hotel and a great option if you are looking to stay locally within the Moundsville area. Being a newer hotel, it is extremely clean and modern looking. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did they were very nice. I am a big coffee hound, so I liked the coffee constantly available. Also big into fitness and the hotel fitness center was nice. It was also extremely quiet. Several food options nearby and its right next door to a Kroger. For the Kroger, it was too close for me to drive, literally feet away, but they also have a fence around a large part of the hotel that makes you either walk the long way around back or across a muddy open lot to get there Not a big deal
