Holiday Inn Express & Suites Maryville by IHG

We were in the area recently for a hunting trip. The room was nice, and everything was clean. BUT the best part of the stay was the staff. Specifically, Andrew at the front desk. He was so attentive and kind. He really made the whole group feel welcomed. Holiday Inn's motto is "Always You," with the goal of "make every moment matter." Andrew exemplified this. If you're in the area, I highly encourage you to book your stay here.

First of all, the staff is wonderful! They welcomed the guests warmly and this is exactly what a guest wants to feel. |The breakfast was good, well stocked and with variety. The two ladies who were in charge are very helpful, pleasant and friendly. |The hotel is in the middle of redoing the pool so guests should expect somewhat of a mess. For that reason I’m hesitant to say anything about cleanliness in the halls and lobby. My guess is that after the completion the lobby carpet and the carpet leading up the stairs will be cleaned. Hallways have punched holes and several places wallpaper needs to be glued. The elevator floor is in poor condition as is the elevator door threshold. I’m sure all these details will be taken care of soon. Give the hotel a try. It is located in a vibrant college

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the pool was closed for our stay and I was not notified of this when I booked. Given that I have children that love to swim I often hotels that have pools so it was a bummer that theirs was being remodeled and was closed for our stay. However, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. It was clean and inviting. We all loved the little free extras that they provided i.e. hot chocolates, apple cider, tea, and cookies. Andrew was one staff member that really stood out as being extremely helpful upon our checking in. The other staff were great I just didn't catch all of their names. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Positive: What we liked best was how friendly the staff treats their guest very, really humanize it with a various personal touch.Also, the beds were very comfortable, really love.The pillows, the room is extremely clean.The hotel is quiet and very safe. I highly recommend this location. The staff was great everyone one of them were very professional, kind and friendly. They add by brining personality humanized approach treat guests with respect and very friendly. The rooms are very clean the beds are comfy loved the pillows. I will definitely be staying here again when I come into town.I recommend this hotel if you're looking for comfort.Great price with a wonderful staff.This is location you want to be at.
