Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kimball by IHG

I spend over 90 nights a year in Holiday Inns and the one in Kimball is a favorite for me. It's clean, quiet and the breakfast is good, but the staff is what makes it really awesome! Most of the staff have worked hear for years and they treat you like family. There's also several good restaurants in the vicinity. Y'all check it out!

Extreme lack of parking. Booked here online with no notice of having a boat being an issue. Had extremely rude staff and was told to back down the street in an abandoned parking lot. With zero way to guarantee vehicle safety. Decided to take the loss on the no refundable room and go elsewhere

I was disappointed with the offsite parking arrangement for oversized vehicles. Although the lot was relatively close to the hotel, it did not feel secure, especially at night due to poor visibility and debris, including trash and sharp objects, throughout the area. Despite the hotel not appearing to be anywhere near full capacity, I was informed that no exceptions could be made for oversized vehicles. When I asked to speak with a member of management to better understand the decision, I was told by the front desk staff that “there is no one to help you.” If you have a large vehicle, stay somewhere else.

Disgusting and dirty. Our sheets were unwashed even though beds were made. There was caked on food (maybe baby spit up?) and urine stains all over the bed. I was given new sheets (I had to carry them up and make my own new bed) and offered a $20 discount for my troubles. Disgusting place. Do not stay here.

Positive: The breakfast and location were great. Negative: Yes the cleanliness of the room was not great. The pull out couch was disgusting. The sheets were clearly not changed. The sheets were wet. The mattress was brown. My son had to sleep on top of the sofas w a blanket on top of the sofa.
