Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jasper by IHG

I travel a moderate amount and stay in hotels…this team was special from answering local questions to noting that I said arrival was my bday. My goodness, smiles and friendly voices and it continued with every person we interacted with! There aren’t enough kudos to thank them for helping us with our questions, to a cute birthday card left in our room from staff as we walked into and settled in! Sometimes it’s the little things you do! Our room was clean, satisfactory for our needs and breakfast was darn good with many options! Thank you! Holiday inn Jasper. We will come back again. Tammy, Connie, and others were top notch! We especially thank you! Great job!

Desk ckerk on 10/08/25 around 5pm is rude and crooked. Reserved my room under government rate and when I checked in they charged me a totally different rate making my room 45 more than the rate I booked at. Then explained to me they wouldn't accept my government ID but not until they had already charged my card for the room. Her husband or boyfriend or whatever is a creeper in the lobby watching everything made me feel highly uncomfortable!!!! She was rude to me when explaining i had a medical alert service animal. There are homeless people scouring the parking lot like the den of thieves too. Make sure everything is locked up and leave dash cams running for insurance purposes!!! I never ever had trouble like this from this hotel but you best believe this girl working the front desk today

It was okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing to brag about either. Room was decent, staff was fine, just kind of average all around. Bed could’ve been softer, breakfast wasn’t anything special, and the vibe felt a little tired. Not the worst stay, but probably wouldn’t rush back.

This is the 2nd time I have come through here and it was a very nice property! Hotel was very modern, clean, no issues. They had cookie hour and made the best cookies! Breakfast in the morning was good. Only thing could think of is have a heated pool! It was warm enough to swim and they said all we could do is sit out by it. Overall, it was a nice stay and I will stay again when in the area.

On Aug. 9, 2025 I stayed over at the Holiday Inn in Jasper, Tx. and experienced the worst case of discrimination I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. I have stayed there at least 5 nights a year and sometimes a wk at a time over 12 yrs. I was in room 123 and experienced brown bath water and a broken down bed. I reported my concern and was told the mgr.(Tammy Wagstaff) would give me a call. When she called me she told me that she would be giving 5,000 pts back towards my rewards as I am a Platinum Elite member and have spent thousands of dollars💰at this location. She told me I was no longer welcomed there and could not stay there anymore. I was in total dismay and asked her was she saying I could never come stay there again and her reply was “yes”.
