Holiday Inn Express & Suites Huntsville by IHG

We did not stay at this hotel, but we did use the EV charging station. This was our second time charging here, and we love it. The employees are very friendly, and they even offer free cookies. My son was so excited, and the cookies were freshly made. If you need a hotel in this area, I would definitely recommend this one. If they treat people using the charging station this well, I can only imagine how great they are with their hotel guests.

Room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was attentive and helpful. Beds comfy. Front staff were gracious & responsive the few times we needed them. Even though we were near the elevator, we didn't have issues with noise. Shower water pressure was great. Hair dryer worked. |Within walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant. |Conveniently located near Walmart, Target, Kroger, & other various restaurants & stores. ||Only issue was the shower curtain being too small. Bathroom came with a small tub and an even smaller shower curtain (and had the water damage to the tiles to prove it). We literally had puddles of water on the floor after showers and had to keep asking for more towels as we constantly used them to sop up the floor. And yes, the curtain was in the tub. It was just too short

***DO NOT STAY HERE*** To start off the first room we walked into the AC was making a horrible noise. Luckily they had another room available. Much better when it came to the AC being quiet. Gotta have that being a light sleeper. In the new room the bathroom door would not close unless you gave it a lot of force and would stick really bad. Now when it came to the bed, you would be better off sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag. The bed was EXTREMELY HARD and UNCOMFORTABLE. The worst bed I have ever slept on when staying at a Holiday Inn. For the owners, you need to do better and buy better quality beds. It is the whole point of someone coming to your hotel for the night. To get a good night's rest!!!!! Clearly not at this Holiday Inn. We will definitely be choosing a different hot

The front desk person was very nice. However, the first room we were in had an issue withe the drain stop not being able to unscrew. If we took a shower it would fill up. The front desk gave us an upgraded room the same night. However, most of the extra outlets did not work. Additionally, the beds were hard to sleep on. We mentioned to front desk who responded all to rooms were like this! We only stayed one night as a result.

Not impressed, wouldn't recommend or stay there again. Checked in, got luggage in the room, started unpacking, realized refrigerator didn't work. The freezer compartment had so much ice buildup, that the refrigerator door wouldn't shut. Got a new room and moved belongings. Multiple pieces of furniture in the room were broken. Furniture upholstery and carpet stained and dirty. Overall appearance of the hotel was dirty, needing updates and repairs. Fitness center didn't have 25 or 30 pound dumbbells. Spoke to the manager about this, initial response was, aren't there other weights you can use? Manager was apparently unfamiliar with using weights to exercise with. Manager didn't indicate that those were going to be replaced, instead just stated that's the equipment that's available. The wei
