Hotel Piney Woods

I just checked out and I had to leave a review. We come to Huntsville a lot to pick up our college age son. We have stayed in several hotels in the area and this by far is my favorite. It’s not fancy, not a lot of amenities. But it’s clean. I felt safe and the staff are so friendly. You cannot beat this price. It will be our preferred stay moving forward as we don’t need amenities though it does have a small pool that my younger kids will like when I bring them next time.

The personalized service of the owners was so refreshing. You can tell they have put a lot of heart in remodeling the hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable with breakfast included. This is a hidden gem!!!

Great rooms, professionalism that is rarely seen even in so called "upscale" hotels/inns, and for a price you can't beat.

I have been staying in this property on and off for last 4 to 5 months. I keep on coming back coz its clean, quiet and safe. The staffs hospitality both the front desk and housekeeping is outstanding 👏 👌. Its just by the freeway a family owned one. I would highly recommend any friends or family to stay here if they need to have a stopover at this town of Huntsville. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean and the housekeeping does an excellent job in keeping the rooms clean, neat and tidy everyday.

When visiting family in Huntsville this weekend, their house was full, so we decided to get a room at the hotel down the road to still be nearby.  Our experience was OUTSTANDING!  The front desk staff was extremely nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was spotless.  It's not affiliated with any major hotel chains, just a little family-owned business they put their heart into. We recommend anyone staying in this area give this little gem a try.
