Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fulton, an IHG Hotel

We were attending a family wedding in Fulton, needed 3 rooms, and our family who live there recommended the Holiday Inn Express. We were very impressed by everything: the rooms were clean and comfortable, the gym and pool were nice, and the breakfast was hot and fresh, but the most outstanding thing was the service. The breakfast preparer was very friendly and attentive to anything she could do to help us and to make sure there was plenty of everything, all the way until the end of serving time. The freshly ground and brewed coffee (caffeinated and decaf) was available 24/7. At the front desk, Anna and TJ were great about arranging a late checkout for us, and Heidi in housekeeping made sure we were well taken care of. First impressions count. Our initial introduction here was a perfect example for front desk employees. Kind, personable, warm, sincere welcome. Room? Excellent. Breakfast? Elevated from usual cheapo other hotels. Return? Absolutely!

I stay at HIE's because I feel I know what to expect. Some experiences are better than others, and this was an almost BEST experience. The whole entryway and facilities were immaculate. Our room was immaculate. The only thing I noticed was when I was walking barefoot, the carpet felt slightly damp and I attribute it to the high humidity and rainy weather. Otherwise, the room was spotless, the bedding was clean, beds were very comfortable, bathroom was spotless. Breakfast really pleasing: sausage, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, omelettes, rolls, cereal, yogurt, etc. The food was fresh, not overcooked or dried. Staff were friendly and attentive, even in the dining area. Absolutely no complaints, and my compliments to this establishment.

I am currently staying at Holiday Inn Express at Fulton Mississippi… and wanted to mention an extraordinary staff member that I had the pleasure of meeting last night… Wow!!! TJ is outstanding, customer service at its BEST!!! She went above and beyond with a problem that I had… nothing to do with the hotel … but really couldn’t do enough to help… she is a credit to the hotel and gives excellent customer service to everyone she meets… I saw her checking in multiple people while I was down in reception and the level of service she offers is really something incredible.. a valuable asset…. This level of service needs to be recognised!!!

I’ve stayed in a lot of IHG hotels and this one is below par. Whole hotel has an old musty smell to it. It’s dirty, stains everywhere. Zero attention to detail here. Chip, dents, scratches, holes all over the walls in our room. Bathroom was slightly updated. Pool area was dark and paint chipping so the kids didn’t even want to swim. We usually work out as a family in the morning but the smell of the gym was AWFUL!!! Staff seemed nice. Breakfast was good and location served us well while traveling though but I would not recommend!!
