The staff was great and friendly, it seemed like I was back to the future. The room was clean, neat and had furniture like I have at home. The price was awesome and I would say it was a pleasure to stay there. My wife was ill and they checked on us every few hours to see if we needed anything. They are owned by a retired american born in the area

Is a delightful place if you decide to stay for weeks on end so where you can visit Mississippi state probation officers office which is right next door and tend to have the police in the driveway at each and every time that you go through the drive which for security reasons that would be great but for the residents who have literally took up residence there by the week you know it's okay as far as cleanliness I wouldn't want to stay more than one night and then want to shower before I leave it is the Magnolia state so hospitality is great if you have something in common with the people behind the desk so say hi to everyone there and you can always see your probation officer who is right next door say hello God bless

All in all it was ok. I was there to visit family from out of town At first I was hesitant because so many people were just hanging out side. Once we got to the room, my feelings changed. It was actually quiet, very clean and comfortable. Nice size bed in a nice size room, table and chairs, and a super over size recliner that was super comfortable. And from what my family said the rates were the best.

Had to change rooms cause the room I checked into was dirty with moldy food in the microwave and hair in the tub. The second room wasn't much better the floor, tub and toilet needed some serious cleaning, towels are either falling apart or dirty. This is a cute place and cheap but no matter the cost I expect a clean room. I wouldn't stay again unless I had no other choice. The management needs to pay better attention to the way the staff cleans I've stayed in crappy 20.00 motels cleaner than this. I took pictures but no where to post them

Amazing friendly people! I am on a very tight budget and I couldn't find a place until I came here. They were so friendly and accomadating to mine and my sons needs! The place was very clean, nicer than most chain places and did I mention how friendly they were! We will definitely be back! They are American owned and couldn't have picked a better place! If you are looking for an affordable room this is your place DO NOT go to sands motel! They might've been the rudest people I've met in a long time if not ever!
