Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Worth West by IHG

Horrible staff at reception. Barely spoke English, and had zero want to help me. This is by far the worst I’ve ever been treated by reception when asking for a simple wake up call for my husband who frequently misses his alarms. I’ve done this 20 + times and never has someone refused. Loss of dignity and decency can be found here. Never again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Hotels of this price range are usually a little shabby, maybe have wierd smells- they are overall ok but kind of bla. This place was much cleaner and nicer than I expected. The room was very spacious, it was quiet, the breakfast was decent, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and not falling apart. The lady who checked us in was very helpful. I would def stay here again.

I am currently staying here visiting family for Thanksgiving. The hotel itself is clean, but the staff is not friendly. I came with small children, 6 of us total. Last night we received a call from the front desk about a noise complaint. The staff on the phone had a harsh tone and I also felt assumed we were actually being loud. We didn't have our TV volume up, weren't talking loud, and no music. My children were getting on and off of their beds, as a mother, yes I reminded to be careful not to stomp, but you can't control every movement with small children. This morning, I went down stairs to get breakfast for my kids for when they woke up. A staff member was hovering watching me and my 16 year old daughter. She then says, "The food is for everybody." Very good price for a clean and comfortable travel hotel. Lobby coffee was delicious especially for lobby coffee. Linda, the host, went out of her way to make my daughter with special needs feel welcome with some valentines gifts.

I stayed at the hotel and forgot my wife’s jacket in the closet. I called hours after leaving to arrange for someone to pick it up. They said it was not in the bedroom, which makes me think they kept it. I won’t stay there again due to the bad service and perceived lack of loyalty.
