Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlottesville - Ruckersville by IHG

I will say that the front desk attendant upon my arrival was very pleasant. There had to be 3 or 4 weddings going on there and she was multi-tasking and still able to smile. My room was nice outside however, the night was anything but nice. I was told when I checked in that all the rooms were booked (keep that in mind). ||My room was on the first floor and right across from the elevators. I believe that the wedding reception was right above me because the music was so loud that my walls were shaking. At 10:30pm (which is supposed to be the start of quiet period), I approached the front desk and asked when they would be wrapping up. My stay at this hotel was amazing the staff at the front desk we're really great and helpful and very accommodating however the driver Sam had a disgusting and rude attitude. He was supposed to pick us up from our location. We came outside the van was gone. We went back into our location to call for the van again, we come outside he's out there but he wanted to argue with us almost the entire ride stating that he have been waiting the whole time when he wasn't. Sam was very rude and disrespectful, aside from him everyone else was amazing!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We loved how roomy our king suite was. The frig actually kept our food cold. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel was very clean. For our personal likes, the mattress could have been firmer. Breakfast had a decent amount of hot and cold choices. Good coffee!

Price...high for type of hotel. $188/night + tax plus $20 deposit per night for incidentals I thought that was the reason that they kept your credit card on file. The $20 is to be refunded after the stay. Everything has been okay with the different times I have stayed. There is no coffee maker in the room.

Huge clean room, friendly staff, plenty of places to get take out. Accommodating for my dog. But very noisy during the early morning hours. Not sure what was going on.
