Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brady by IHG

This had to be one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was very clean, the room smelled great, and we were even upgraded. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had at any Holiday Inn Express. Alissa was wonderful in the restaurant area—very friendly and attentive. The lobby was beautiful, especially with the gorgeous Christmas tree and holiday decorations, and the entire property was spotless. We would definitely stay here again. I haven’t found another Holiday Inn Express that compares to how nice this one is.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay in a very small town with limited options for hotels. The rooms are sparkling clean and fresh with amazing mattresses to enjoy a good night sleep. We got a suite for the extra sitting area and we brought our dog. We felt the fee to allow her to join us was very reasonable. Breakfast was really nice. I wish they had real eggs with cheese on the side as a garnish and real salsa but other than that, biscuits were awesome and coffee fantastic. I loved the dining area and the staff was truly friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

When we travel to Houston, we stop mid-way at this hotel. Lately, we've been disappointed with the breakfast items. The pancake maker has been out for the past two times. We go to Houston for Cancer check-ups for a family member. Yesterday, it appeared that there was not a breakfast attendant keeping the stations full. The cinnamon rolls, we always look for were empty after they were replaced and nobody for 40 minutes replaced them. The trash can was full, the tables were not bussed, and the Oatmeal container was empty.||For $180/night you would think there would be someone there servicing the continental breakfast. Upon checking in, I asked for a bottled water and the display cooler was empty of water. The desk attendant didn't even bother to check if he had more in the back.|Yes, I'm b**

We were on our way back to Temple. It was getting dark and the roads were starting to ice over again. Didn't want to chance it. The staff was great the room nice. Holiday Inn really does a good job with breakfast. When I travel alone I stay at cheaper places but my wife was with me she doesn't like cheap places. Years ago we stayed in a cheap motel back in the 90’s and she got ringworm on her foot. In 2026 she still never lets me forget. But in all honesty you get what you pay for. The Holiday Inn is more expensive but it really is better. We enjoyed the stay.

Hotel has issues. Market for some reason cash only. Green pool. Windows I need of repair. Sometimes the counter is staffed by kids … lost my key once and an … 8-13 year old produced me a new one. Asked for no verification or id. I could have gotten anyone’s key. Hotel lobby is …. It’s not up to typical holiday inn standards. Hopefully they can get back on plan.
