Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baltimore West - Catonsville by IHG

The lady who checked me in on Friday night was so friendly, and professional. The room was very nice. They are remodeling and there was a new bed in the room. It was the most comfortable bed Ive slept in, in a hotel. The room was clean, had fresh towels and toiletries. And the price was really good. Its next to a Checkers if you get hungry. And they have breakfast. I was suprised that they had sausage gravy over biscuts on the buffet. Had a nice selection of foods for breakfast.

Staff are AH MAZE ING!! We stayed here two years ago and had a lovely suite which wasn’t available this visit sadly! So here we are now and we just checked into our room for this stay! Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite up to our expectations. No worries though because thankfully the young lady at the front desk went above and beyond, aiding us in finding the right room for our stay! She was so very kind and activated cards to different rooms so I could check them out before committing to a choice! They are renovating which posed some minor issues with our air conditioning unit. Don’t you sweat it (no punt intended) because the staff member (overseeing the property) came up to our room multiple times to help us!! He was very fore-bearing and fixed everything so we could be comfortable! It

This hotel is functional, but in need of a refresh sooner than later. I've been here a few different times, and the location is good for me. The room was comfortable, AC/heat worked, breakfast was fine. However, the housekeeping needed to be improved: there were a few stray hairs in the shower and on the floor near the toilet, and the soap dispensers in the shower and sink area were both empty when I arrived. (Front desk gave me mini soap bars, which was fine.) There were also no washcloths, which I overheard another guest complaining about when I was checking in.|What needs refreshing? The shower stall showed some discoloration. The collar(?) around the grab bar was unscrewed and just dangling. The showerhead looked like it had some mineral buildup; it would be better as a handhe

Positive: "" Negative: Bright light shined through window all night couldn't sleep. No Shade at window and drapes wouldn't close. Charged a deposit thats suppose to return to card when i checkout still on card even though I checked out days ago.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The lady at reception was very pleasant and friendly, check-in was quick and easy. The lobby smelled very nice as well. The room was spacious and well kept. The bathroom amenities were great, had full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was a pleasant surprise (instead of the little tiny ones most hotels have lol). Also had a few body lotions bottles, make up remover and a bar of soap, more amenities than most hotels! Bed of comfy and had a great night’s sleep. Delicious coffee and great breakfast bar. Only drawback of the tv was a bit outdated and did not have a guide menu, but very slight inconvenience and did not detract from overall experience. Would definitely stay here again!
