Holiday Inn Express & Suites Atlanta East - Lithonia by IHG

The staff here was exceptionally awesome especially the Manager Tekyra! Everyone was kind, professional and always willing to help. The room was clean and well prepared. The breakfast was sufficient. I’m very glad that I chose this place for my stay!

Worst holiday inn I’ve ever gone to in terms of cleanliness. Would not recommend staying here. Had to switch rooms because the AC was broken. Had a bug crawling on the sheets when I woke up. Body wash bottle dispenser was broken. Either dirt or mold right above shower on the wall. Had to run the shower for a minute to help get some dirt to drain that was on the floor of the shower. Dried toothpaste in the sink and on the faucet. Dirty sheets, looked like from the bottom of a shoe.

The front desk staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Our hallway and smelled like weed and the room was not very clean. There was a dried up brown matter on the toilet pipes and wall. We found a deodorant cap between our bedsheets and mattress cover and the curtains and walls were stained.

My husband and I were driving through GA it got late we needed place to stay for the night. Upon arriving was informed by clerk elevators not working. No big deal for us. I let agent know I am AAA member and IHG . She told me if I want to use I would have to go online and make reservations. It was late we just needed room so I didn’t do that. Anyway those should have been clues about hotel. Bathroom was nasty filthy room dirty. Hallways dirty they don’t try and hide it. Beware of this hotel!!

I had a very good rest and felt very comfortable and safe here. Maybe that's the most important thing. This hotel is a bland corporate chain hotel like many others, but is clean and well run, and the staff helpful. It feels new (they are still working on the swimming pool). Only two things confused me...the lack of two things every corporate hotel should have: (1) blackout curtains (my room didnt have any, and the morning sun did not cheer my jet-lagged brain), and (2) USB charging ports. Seriously...its 2025, get some USB charging ports. Otherwise really liked it here.
