Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta East/Stonecrest

I recently stayed at this hotel with family. I am a Gold Honors member and booked two rooms. This wasn’t the excellent experience I’ve normally had with other Hilton hotels but nevertheless it was fair. On my day of checkout my car was vandalized and items stolen at the hotels parking lot. The police was contacted and I was given a report but was told nothing could be done. Not even could the cameras that are outside the parking lot be reviewed. This is unacceptable. Never will I be back from out of town to stay here and I’m also reconsidering staying at any other Hilton hotels if this will become the norm.

This hotel is clean and seems to be recently renovated. But that’s about all the pros I can list and that can be found easily elsewhere. So, I’d definitely stay somewhere else next time. Not a smile or ounce of positive attitude to be found from anyone working at the front desk day or night. We stayed here during a weekend family reunion with other family members who drove/flew in from all over. The service was so bad it became a running joke across families after we discovered that we’d all had our own negative experience with the “jerk clerk” at check in. I was hopeful it was just an off experience but the morning staff was the exact same. Also, nearly $350 for a two night stay and the breakfast is a la carte? Want a slice of toast? $3. Our stay was wonderful! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon anniversary here and it was fan-tas-tic. The room was neat and clean, the amenities were abundant and the staff were very friendly. The hotel looks brand new and it’s in great shape. We loved the fitness center and the peloton room! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

I'm a diamond member and have stayed hundreds of nights at Hilton brand hotels. This by far was the WORST one I've ever stayed in and they aren't all perfect. It's a non smoking facility but you can smell weed everywhere you walk. I stayed two different nights in different rooms hoping for better, but it's the only one you feel safe at in the area. If you like loud music, sound of street racing around mall perimeter, the smell of weed, then this place is for you. Stay in downtown Atlanta or keep going past Conyers. This place is turning into a dump. No hot water and low pressure, no soap, one towel and could not receive extra, broken fixtures, bulbs blown in bathroom, staff was unfriendly.
