Holiday Inn Express Richmond-Mechanicsville

I really, really like this hotel ! Most of all Lawrence is great at preparing and accommodating guest for their breakfast. It is a hot breakfast with all the other usual foods... The rooms and hotel are always clean, the staff is very hospitable, it is safe, and in a great location. I've stayed several times in the last 3 months, and regret that I did not do a review. I'm coming there soon.

Breakfast with Lawrence was wonderful! Also check in the night before was pleasant, easy and informative. Years ago, I stayed here regularly and just now started staying again. So nice to see that quality has stayed the focus, along with relaxing atmosphere. See you again soon.

Ms. Hope Brooks was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was tasty. The Bed very comfortable. However, the carpet throughout the hotel is dirty, there was hair on the washcloth, toilet was clogged. The worse part of my stay was the bed bugs. This is my first and last time staying at this location.

Positive: At check-in, the staff member quickly accommodated me with a new room after I informed him: the commode continued to run after it was flushed, AND, the heater was not working properly. Negative: Breakfast ends at 9:30am

Pleasant staff at check in, clean room, easy access traveling from Florida to Boston. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but lawrence who was keeping food filled and warm was a wonderful host, very friendly l and making sure all the customers were happy and had what we needed! Was nice way to start the day!
