ROOM 114. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel this is important. This was my second time staying at this location, and my first visit went seamlessly. Unfortunately, this visit ended abruptly. I do want to thank the staff who assisted me — they were professional and helpful. During the night, I woke up and discovered a bed bug on my pillow. After getting out of bed and checking the area, I found several more. Understandably, this was very alarming. I immediately gathered my belongings and took precautions once I returned home. Thankfully, I did not experience any bites or issues with my belongings, but I did have to cancel my work trip, and the situation significantly impacted my peace of mind. I hope management thoroughly inspects and treats the room to ensure future guests do not

Positive: Close to the event that I was attending. Negative: When I arrived, i found out that they were remodeling the location. So I had to get a different type of room.

Horrible experience. Arrived late with an early morning event the next day. The door to our room would not close (hinge problem?). Of course, that’s a deal-breaker. We had booked a two-queen with sofa bed and needed accommodations for 3 people. The front desk manager, Kwame, said there were not other 2-queen/sofabed rooms available. We asked if there were two rooms available, instead, and there were. He then proceeded to try to charge us for the extra room and kept repeating that he couldn’t give us a room for free. Not asking for freebies—just a room with a door that closes. It was 11 p.m. and we did not ask for a repair, as that would have been too late. Had to pay for two rooms at a nearby hotel, same owner, and I do expect a refund for the price difference. The manager’s tone was unbel

YIKES! A 1.5 star experience! We usually stay at 'better' (4-5 star) hotels, but had a local funeral we needed to attend last minute. Thought a 3-star hilton would be "ok", esp. given a $254/night room rate (close to $300 with all taxes, etc)...It was TERRIBLE. Have pics but severe water damage with ceilings and walls, carpets are all 'dingy' and reminds me of those old (40 year) hiltons that used to be nice and wasn't renovated. Plus elevator was broken (only one) ALL WEEKEND so had to gump it with luggage, etc to/from 3rd floor. Cable also went out twice (no weather). Do not recommend..for others just drive further and stay in richmond...downtown Marriott, Omni, etc...basically same pricing, but ALOT better...Oh and don't ask for a afternoon room clean, they are all gone! Can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's definitely a modest price point for those of us who are looking for a deal and need to be close to shops or groceries. It's right in the middle of Jersey and South Carolina...so all my family had 5 hour trips either way. The indoor pool is the best in cold weather seasons. My kids loved it. But the shining trophy goes to the attendants that check in, serve breakfast, and welcome you in the evenings. Without their help, we would surely not have had as great of time as we did.
