Holiday Inn Express Montgomery - East I-85 by IHG

Positive: location, cleaniness, staff at the front desk Negative: As an on stay customer, I was not able to get my check-out receipt and the hotel did not have an indoor pool.

First of all the lo action didn’t appear on the map and it was guiding me to about 6 miles down the road. Once got there they had availability but honestly pry es have gone up requiring $152.00 x night. First room had a non working a/c even though reflected it was on. Desk attendant came in checked and decided to change room. Second room (#120) mattress on one of the bed was faulty in the middle but was already too late so we weren’t in the mood to change again. This one doesn’t have to be with the hotel but at 5:00am someone apparently didn’t have anything else to do and the TV volume disrupted our sleep. Next time got to check the parking lot for companies that may have contracts on the area. Breakfast was as expected no complaint there, they even provided a bag for take on the road.

The rooms are well worn and dirty. The bathroom had dirty toilet paper and brown spots all over the walls.....not rust. The shower was claustrophobic and worn. The sink barely drained. The t.v. remote doesn't work. There was no coffee pot in the room. I reserved a 2 queen bed room but was given a king. The sink in the eating area drips. They were out of coffee in the entry/breakfast area. This place needs alot of work! Not up to Holiday Inn standards in my opinion.

I had to travel for work and chose this place to stay overnight. I chose this place because they had a work-out room that has a treadmill. When I got there, the person at the front desk was nice and got me my room. I asked about the special request that I made the day before and they said they got it. I thanked them for that. I room was clean and simple, the way I like it. They also have black out curtains that work really well. There was construction going on at the time but it did not bother me. The workout room was not big and had 1 treadmill but there wasn't anyone there when I was working out so it worked out. The only ask would be if I could have gotten a response to let me know that they received my request because when I got there, I wasn't sure if they got it or if I put in the wr

Great location. My wife ripped her sweater and they supplied her with a two little sewing kits to repair it. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and very quiet. Also coffee, tea and hot cocoa available all day. Very friendly staff. We will be back again.
