Stopping at this hotel after 10 hours on the road was like a breath of fresh air! First of all, it was extremely clean. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and I did not find one speck of dust or random hair anywhere in room 224. The bed linens & towels were sparkling white, fresh & clean. The king size bed & pillows were very comfortable and the room had a K-cup coffee pot & a mini fridge. There was nice, thoughtful touches like a hairdryer, facial makeup removing wipes and Dove brand products for showering (hand wash, body lotion, body wash, shampoo & conditioner) which is great so you don’t have to unpack for a quick overnight stay. We were traveling from North Carolina to just west of Chicago, do to a family emergency. After a long day of traveling we hoped to find a place for the night. Amanda, warmly welcomed us like family, checked us in and told us to enjoy our stay. After a rest filled night and fantastic breakfast, we went on to continue our trip only to find out we had car trouble. I explained our situation to the young lady at the front desk (Kim G.) who offered to let us stay until 12:30, without charge. Kim G. jumped into action, helping us find a highly reviewed wrecker service to tow our vehicle to the dealership. At 12:15 or so I walked down to the front desk to tell Kim G. we would need to stay another night as the dealership did not have the parts we needed in stock, that they needed to be ordered. Kim

Positive: Room was good, comforter was the best. Negative: Breakfast needs the warming table turned up. Food was a little cool..Bacon was a bit overdone but flavor was good. We were unaware of the towel replacement and the do not disturb sign...Once it was figured out not a problem. Thanks

I was on a road trip and I had reserved one night at this Holiday Inn Express and let me tell you, if I did not have a destination in mind the next morning I would have stayed there for as long as I possibly could. The room I had was spectacular, modern, clean, crisp, extremely roomy and had everything I needed. The night attendant Amanda was extremely informative and helpful. And the manager Erin in the morning answered all my questions and made checkout a breeze. Breakfast was spectacular. Better than many, many, many, many hotels that I've stayed in my life. With several several hot entree options as well as the standard Continental Fare, all catered to different tastes and dietary restrictions. This hotel really had it all. AMAZING HOTEL ! I got up too late for the breakfast they all raved about. I could not get out of that STARCH WHITE soft as heavenly clouds pillows and sheets , oh and the perfect comforter ! Oh my what a treat ? Beautiful bathroom and shower , cleanest hotel I've seen in years by far ! Even the 24 7 Lobby greeting coffee ,decaf and regular were so perfect ! Spoke to 3 different staff. They were all , so nice and friendly and spoke perfect English !! The pool and hot tub were well maintained and a pure gift, so relaxing. Hot tub, pool , hot tub , pool, we ran back n forth for over an hour playing. I definitely recommend ! Don't tell too many people .. 😉 it's a rare gem !!
