Crossroads Inn

The front desk guys were friendly. I appreciated them. The motel is run down. It didn't seem clean and there was a metal box of cigarette butts outside our window. The shower was "shower only" because the knob to turn the faucet down to the bathtub was gone. The door knob on the bathroom was really old and looked like it came from an outside door. It's just rough. This place needs a remodel.

I am used to having coffee maker in room and tissue paper. The beds are good and they have a micro wave and frig and good tv. No maid service. we were there 3 days no fresh towels, no beds made,no emptying trash baskets, looked like mold on ceiling above shower in bathroom. No extra toliet paper. lamps above beds were bug filled(dead thank god. All motels were booked so had no chance to move to another motel. The desk clerk very friendly and nice. His boss not so much. Oh good air conditioning too.

Check in was easy even late at night. The room was clean, no problems. We had forgotten our id's there when we left and the housekeeper called us right away! The older gentleman working there was very nice too.

The Health Department should be notified! The room was filthy. I found hair not belonging to me in my allegedly fresh bedding, in the shower and in the sink. There is black mold around the heating unit as the window glass sweats and forms puddles around the heater, walls and floor. I lifted the microwave. Under it, the top of the refridgerator hadnt been cleaned in many months. This place is a disgrace. I felt more clean NOT using the shower. Shower mat and face cloths were stained/dirty. Managements response, "If you dont like it, you can leave." Keep driving to the next town if needed. I feel as if I should make a Doctors appointment after staying here!
