Holiday Inn Express Henderson N Evansville South by IHG

Absolutely TERRIBLE PLACE !!!! Was not told about $200 cash deposit on the phone when I called about booking. Stop for the night on company business and was told since I lived within 60 miles I would have to pay cash deposit for pet and room damages, I'm almost 60 yrs old, driving a $150,000 truck and paying with a corporate card and they want cash for a deposit 🤬 and then the lady says she'll wave the deposit for the night but please don't trash the room 🤬🤬🤬 WTH, canceled reservation and will never book there again!!!!!

Our rooms were perfect and the location was great for our families wedding in Henderson. The breakfast was perfect but I think the general manager Kim needs to work on her hospitality. Very rude to multiple guest while in the breakfast area. I know everyone has their days but when you work in customer service environment you have to have your best guest service on. We were really pleased with the rest of the staff!

This trip of ours is the second stay we have with this hotel. The first one was the week before and we forgot my daughter's favorite dino stuffed animal. Since our place is 4 hrs away and we liked Henderson KY, we just decided to make another weekend trip and explore Henderson more. We like that the staffs are all friendly and the facility is so clean and looks like recently renovated. We will stay here again if we are given the opportunity in one of our US road trips.

Refused to refund money after stating room was $200 after fees etc. paid online. Upon arrival it was stated “since I lived within a 60mi radius, they needed $200 more as a deposit”. They were not upfront about the extra money they were asking for. When asked for a refund the manager was very rude. Will never been booking a stay here again & I advise against such unless your willing to fork up 400 for a “mid” hotel room.
