Henderson Downtown Motel

It is ok but a lot of bad people stay there the cops are there all the time and drugs are in and out. It use to b a nice place but now I wouldn't rent a room there and not bring kids on site...

I visit Henderson KY for the WC Handy Blues and BBQ Festival every year. The big name chains were full but I found this place available. The reviews, as you know, were mixed but I decided to take a chance. I requested a non-smoking room. My first two "non-smoking rooms" were used by smokers even though the doors had non-smoking medallions on them. With apologies the 3rd one was a charm. The owner explained guests checking into non-smoking rooms sometimes fib to get a room. Both him and his wife were very gracious and I believe them that they tried. The grounds (and room) were spotless. I saw a fella sweeping up every morning. The room came with a small refrigerator which was an unexpected bonus. All the lights and electrical switches worked. This place is gross and has roaches . It use to be decent but not anymore. This is the worst and nasty hotel. The guy that checked me in was rude and I don’t recommend this hotel at all. They need to remodel the rooms it is not 1999 anymore. The only thing that was nice for the floor, but it was disgusting to walk on. They don’t even clean the rooms. Don’t stay here. It is gross and roach infested. I’m gonna have to dump all my clothes out before I bring them home and make sure there’s no roaches. I’m leaving roach spray in the room hopefully they’ll use it. This place should be condemned!!!

The worst place to stay ever a friend stayed their one night and their was a puddle of blood on the bed and a ton of bloody condoms under the bed their were bed bugs and roaches and mold everywhere we have photos and everything to show that it was disgusting lolked like it havent bleen cleaned in months it looked almost like a crime scene

It is a good location to store or to eat. But the cleanness in the room was bad. In bathroom over bathtub has a leak in ceiling. The appliances were dirty. Microwave plate was in a fridge with brownies on them. On plate in the microwave. Sheets on the bed look like they hadn't been change, So I slept on top of the comforter.
