We were warmly welcomed by Jamal after being out in the cold and snow. He has a great personality and did a wonderful job checking us in — a strong first impression and much appreciated. In the morning, when we went to check out, there was a note at the desk stating the agent had stepped away. I called the number listed with no answer, then texted and received no response. When I called again, the staff member who answered seemed annoyed that we needed a printed receipt, which was disappointing. Regarding parking, we were traveling with a truck and boat and were able to find a suitable spot near the trash cans. However, by morning a car was parked in the snow at the entrance, making it a bit challenging to exit with a trailer. Easy to get off the highway and back on. Nice to have a new

I recently stayed at this hotel as a single adult traveling with two small children, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering plenty of room for the kids to move around comfortably. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to both children and adults — a definite highlight of our stay.||The location felt safe and convenient, just minutes away from restaurants and stores, which made outings easy and stress-free. The hotel is very nice for its price - the staff is very welcoming, rooms are spacious and well packed. Tea and Coffee available 24h. Good hairdryer, linen, towels. Ice machines on the floor. Breakfast is also good enough to start your day. They let you take the food and get breakfast in your room. It’s a great place to stay if you are going to Niagara Falls by car - it’s a quick drive there, we did not meet any traffic jams throughout a week. The place is very quiet with Canada Goose and deers all over and we really enjoyed it. Mind the hotel location, especially if you rent a car, - it is on Grand Island and every car entry is charged up to $1.75 (non NY plates) plus daily Z-pass fee. Avis charged us 6.95 per day. Had a wonderful experience at this Holiday Inn Express! We were in a handicap ADA room that was well done! The staff, Vanessa, Brenda, Yash, Bryan and Jamal were all like family taking care of any needs. Breakfast was varied and fresh! Cookies in PM as well. Clean and neat! Will return upon our next trip. This place was EXCELLENT! From the moment we came in to checking out, top of the line service A+++++. Jamal checked us in & was professional & personable. Brian helped us also & was also excellent. Brenda was very personable & offered to help often, with me having to use a knee scooter. I will DEFINITELY be using this place again. The room was immaculate & huge. When you walk into the hotel, the smell was great, very clean & luxurious looking. The breakfast was excellent & the food staff were also excellent. The cost was decent. There was an issue after we switched 1 day in that it added almost $300 but they fixed it right away. It's also a nice out of the way place & literally right off the interstate & a beautiful area.
