Holiday Inn Diamond Bar - Pomona by IHG

The first night we got to the hotel, we were exhausted from a day of travel, but needed to have dinner. We got downstairs about 40 minutes before closing. Richard was nothing but nice & attentive when we ordered dinner. We never felt rushed & he always made sure we had all that we needed. Every morning, breakfast was super busy with Uni student track teams. Marco ALWAYS made sure there was a table for our family. He was always smiling, nice, attentive and aware of everyone's needs. Charlotte and Milaco (Mila) were constantly restocking food and clearing tables, kept up with the never ending crowd & they were personable. Even the hotel cleaning staff made an effort of acknowledging guests!! If we needed something, they never hesitated to help. Not a lot to do in Diamond Bar - about 45 min

If you want to stay in a hotel with housekeeping blasting music and slamming doors at 7 am all the way until the afternoon just to kick you out of the hotel, This is the place. We chose this place because we were not feeling well and did not want to be contagious to family. No compassion, super loud. The front desk lady would not even get off the phone when we made the complaint about the noise. I’m a gold elite at IHG, with benefits to late checkout. But it won’t matter here. The housekeeping are always on the phone chatting nonstop, the walls are thin, and they are just completely ignorant of people sleeping. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the place.

The main issue was that there were bloodstains on the pillows in the room. Since I only use one pillow to sleep, I put the extra pillows aside. When I woke up, I saw bloodstains on the unused pillows, which is unacceptable. It's clear they weren't checked or replaced. I informed the front desk, but they only apologized and offered to change my room, without providing any other solutions. They said that because I booked through a third party, they couldn't make any changes for me, and they didn't mention reporting the problem to their superiors. I was quite disappointed by this. Hygiene is paramount, especially considering the possibility of blood from someone with HIV. I hope your management team will strengthen hygiene management. Very nice hotel with friendly and professional staff. Room was clean and very well maintained. Had an excellent breakfast buffet, albeit a tad on the high side, but the variety and complete selection made up for it. As of this writing it was $18.95. If you are a breakfast person it's worth it. If not, then skip the expense. Check in was smooth, kudos to Ei Mon, and checkout was done digitally so very fast. Various places to eat in the area. Free guest parking. Would recommend a room with a south view. It will be of the parking lot but also the mountains and will be much quieter. If get a room to the north, you will have a view of the freeway and probably much noisier. Would certainly recommend if in this area.

5 Stars – Great Stay at Holiday Inn Diamond Bar! I had a very positive experience staying at the Holiday Inn in Diamond Bar. From the moment I arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The room was spotless, and I really appreciated how cool and refreshing the A/C was—perfect after a long day. The shower was excellent with great water pressure and consistent warmth, and I loved that the bathroom was stocked with quality, brand-name toiletries: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion. It’s such a thoughtful touch, especially if you forget anything! The staff was also fantastic—friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!
