Ho-Hum Motel

Great little motel. Real homelike feel. It's quite. It's within walking distance to tons of stores and the house keeper is extremely trustworthy. I left her tips and she never took them until I told her it was for her. The prices are fair for the area even a bit cheaper. They have on demand hot water so your showers never cold unlike the AC that blows cold as ice. They even have a vending machine for sodas for a dollar each. I don't give out 5 stars easy but these guys earned it.

I didn't stay here, I just wanted to share that I lived close by to this motel. I can't believe it is still standing. I know for fact it's over 55 years old and from the pictures it looks the same as way back then! LoL which does say a lot to whomever built it! Personally I don't believe I have what it takes to stay there.

I stayed at this motel a decade ago. It is a small mom & pop place. I have no issue with that - i don't need super fancy, just clean and quiet. The room we were in smelled so bad of smoke I had to wash all of our clothes 2x to get the smell out completely. The carpets are so gross I would not take my shoes off. The sheets & towels appeared clean. The bathroom was the cleanest thing in the room. Rooms are very outdated which is fine but there is a difference between out dated and run down. Only 1 outlet in the room worked. I was shocked a the price - it was not what I was quoted. I could have stayed at the motel 6 a few miles away for the same price and a more update & modern room. The gentleman who was manning the front desk seemed very put - out that he had to actually do work.

It was kinda dirty & run down. I'm pretty sure that if I'd had a blacklight... I'd have ran out screaming. Bathroom door didn't latch, sheets were stained, bed torn to hell underneath & the box spring was covered in animal hair. Definitely not in my top 5 hotels... or even top 10. I honestly wouldn't pay to stay there. My sister paid for it. There was a mini fridge & microwave, which I liked... but there was open stuff in it, so they obviously don't clean thoroughly.

He owners are very shady, they charged me for my lil dog with worry he would chew the room lol but wen I walked into the room it was just discusting, curtains on window were stained yellow and ripped ,no privacy in bathroom for that window blind was worn and broke, I pulled back bedding and the sheets were already slept in wrinkles and dirt from someone laying with shoes on. I asked for sheets and they gave them to me but said they cleaned and changed them . No way housekeeping was in there before I checked in. Looks nice outside but ,RUN, RUN AWAY!
