HiWay Inn Express Kiowa Hwy 69

Rooms are outdated and in poor condition. Beds are hard as a rock. Shower was nice and clean. The carpet has stains all over it. The lady that works there was nice and works hard to keep the place running. I ready enjoyed talking with her but I won't go back.. not a nice place to stay!

Where to begin...When I arrived to check in, there was no one at the desk. I had to call and wake the guy up to get service. He proceeded to tell me that my reservations that I booked online were no good because they got rid of all internet booking. Sign at front desk says no refund after 10 minutes of check in. Now I know why. The room was miserably dirty. Carpet stained, ring around the tub, and astoundingly duct tape holding the toilet seat together. Sheets, towels, and blankets did not look clean. Requested clean sheets and blankets. They had no extra blankets! What? Needless to say, after one miserable night, we left. All I can say is, gross. Lots of nicer places a few miles down the road.

We arrived just before 11pm. There was no one in the office and it was locked. Sign said call #. We called it multiple times and no answer. We sat there 15 min because there is literally no where else to get a hotel between there and home. We talked to another guy also waiting and longer then us. We were pulling out and someone finally showed up after being dropped off. They didn't have any rooms ready so we had to wait. Then we go to out room upstairs and the concrete steps were literally falling apart like they could collapse at any moment. No caution tape or anything up. So we go to the next staircase and it's actually worse with steps that had crumbled. So we took our chances on staircase #1 and luckily if didn't decide to fall apart on us. 04/03/2025. Terrible service as I called while still in Tushka the next town over where there are other hotels. A gentleman at this hotel told me they had rooms available so I told him I would be there in 25 minutes. When I arrived to check in 25 minutes later the gentleman I spoke with over the phone and the lady at the desk said they have no clean rooms available! The lady at the front desk said she hasn’t had a break or lunch and it would take an hour to clean one. It’s 10pm about 11 hours since checkout time at 11Am and I had given them 25 minutes notice of my arrival. This place is not usually busy. There were only a few guest cars in the parking lot when I arrived so this place wasn’t exactly the happening spot to be. I’ve stayed before and the place isn’t great but also not bad it’s

Good and clean rooms. Housekeeping comes in to change towels every day but make bed every other day. She does laundry, that's a bonus. The price for a very good 243 night is 58 very economic. Diner next door. There's not much to look around. Management is very nice and helpful. Quiet, safe place. Next to the road, so might get some noise, but nothing bad. Update was here for almost 3 weeks they clean every 3 or 4 days now. Price changed, no notice or anything, just went up like 100 dlls a week. Everything else the same, internet slow, cable comes and goes, but they try to help out when it does. Overall it's alright. Only reason it stays at a 4 rating because housekeeping does a good and washes laundry.
