No signage at the location (boat ramp) so we were not sure it was Hitchcock Lake CG but it was a pretty ride thru the cypress.
Really cool place that's far off the beaten path.
Primitive camp ground accommodates campers. Low tree branches above hardened dirt road. 4 picnic tables, 5 fire rings and portable toilets during general gun hunting season. Bring a boat to get into the lake and catch large catfish, bass and bream, i.e. panfish. Then continue to Ochlochonee river. A fun place.
