Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort

After a long drive, we decided to find a place to stay overnight in Crescent OR. We contacted Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort and spoke with Teresa who graciously found us a room. ||After a long day of driving through Oregon, we were in need of a comfortable place to rest—and we found just that at the Historic Gilchrist Waterfront Resort. We called and spoke with Teresa, who was incredibly gracious and welcoming. Wonderful pond front oasis right off the highway. Loved our well stocked full kitchen in our waterfront cabin. Bed was super comfy as well! Grounds were beautiful and we'll kept. Enjoyed the lap pool/hot tub. Hosts were very sweet and helpful. Enjoyed meeting Bridget the dog!

Big clean room with full kitchen, nice fire place.    Gorgeous sunset on the waterfront.  Plus- provided coffee, hot cocoa, and tea bags.

We enjoyed our stay. It is super affordable for being only an hour to Crater Lake. The rooms are super comfortable and had nice sunset views over the lake. The grounds are very nice, and they have many amenities. The owners are friendly as well. It is just off of the highway, so you will pick up traffic noise.

Let me start with how peaceful and beautiful this resort was to stay and host a family gathering for my son’s graduation event. The property is very well maintained and equipped with activities that allow all ages a chance to enjoy. The house has a vintage charm and plenty of space for everyone to freely share spending time together. Also very clean and comfortable vibe. This place was truly a perfect destination to host a larger event in the main lodge and I definitely recommend this charming location for anyone who wants to host a event or just relax and have a get way vacation.
