Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT AT A HILTON!!We stayed 2/28/26 & 3/1/26. We would have left if we had a place to go. But it was bike week, which we didn't know...our BATHROOM WAS GROSS! We have always appreciated Hilton for being clean. I am attaching pictures...mold in shower, shower floor slimy, someone else's hair in there....gross, mentioned to housekeeping so they washed down the shower...but not didn't really clean the way you expect clean from hilton....will never stay here again. It's too bad, because the restaurant and bar people were great. And did have the best gluten free toast and eggs that I ever had. But the gross bathroom was too much. NEVER AGAIN!! I never post bad, I usually post good. But if you are expecting the regular hilton....Hilton Garden in Daytona is not it! Esp

Our stay had some great highlights, but also a few things that definitely need improvement. First, the front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Every time we walked in or out, they greeted us with genuine smiles and positive energy. They were always ready to help with anything we needed and answered every question without hesitation. Their kindness really stood out and made the hotel feel welcoming. The bar was another plus — the drinks were good, and it was nice having that option right on-site. However, the cleanliness of the rooms needs serious attention. The soap dispensers in the shower were literally hanging off the wall, and the room didn’t seem like it had been cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. I even found a floss pick under a chair in the room, which definitely wasn’t ours

Great experience from beginning to end especially Brittny in the breakfast dining room! She was friendly and very attentive which was very mush appreciated! The front destroyer staff were also friendly and accommodating for both check-in and check-out. The room was quite comfortable and very clean offering a great oceanfront view. For a quick overnight stay I was not able to take advantage of other amenities the hotel has to offer. Parking was a breeze but included a $10/ day fee for non-gated access which seems to becoming more frequent at both Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn properties I've stayed at. Despite this, I defiantly recommend staying at this property!

Positive: Location. Negative: They only allow one car space per room. We had 2 cars so had to find alternate parking. That seemed unreasonable. Especially when charged additionally for parking. No free breakfast. Sink didn’t drain. Reserved a “city view” room but view was of a wall.

My wife and I visited the Garden Grill and Bar for breakfast this morning. The atmosphere was sunny and relaxed. We were greeted by our server, Brittany, who quickly brought us coffee and took our order. Our two eggs special with potatoes, toast (bagel), turkey sausage and orange juice was hot and tasty. Brittany was very pleasant and checked on us for anything we might need. This is a nice spot to have a good, simple breakfast.
