Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Airport

I’m currently staying at this Hilton property for work during the 500, and today was a reminder of why I’m not loyal to Hilton and only stay at their hotels when I have no other option. I’m here every year for the 500, the Coke Zero 400, Bike Week, and other major events, often with employees, so this is not a one time visit. I am very familiar with how different hotel brands handle high traffic weekends. In my experience, Hilton is the only major brand that consistently sells out its guest experience to make a few extra bucks. It was very clear that management prioritized selling parking spaces to race fans over providing adequate parking for paying hotel guests. Checked in late at night, about 11pm. Got to the room to go to sleep after 10 hours on the road. When I pulled the comforter up I smelled the worst body oder. There was a slight smell when I opened the door but the small on the sheets was the absolute worst. I was too tired to ask for a new room. The next morning I informed the front desk about the smell and that I wanted a 100% linen change, especially the comforter.||When I came back to the room at 9pm that night the beds were very well made. I went to the bed to verify they changed it out. Well, NOPE. So not only does the cleaning staff lack the ability to properly clean, the management is worse. A manager should ensure a complaint like this is followed up and verified. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a really restful night. Janice assisted me with my reservation and explaining how the system charged it, and she was incredibly helpful and kind. Her customer service truly made a difference. I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: Location. Its right next door to the Daytona Speedway and there are lots of shops and restaurants within minutes of the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Negative: Not enough lighting in the room

The service was excellent. The rooms clean and well kept. AC crisp. Towels super clean. They have a working hot tub. The chef for breakfast this morning made the best omlette ive ever tasted. I have a high standards for food and she absolutely nailed it.
