Hilltop Motel

I have been staying here for about two weeks now and I am very pleased with everything. Everyone is so friendly, the room was extremely clean, and it's cheap! I feel like I know my neighbors really well and everyone seems to care for each other. There are only a few employees so they all interact with their guests which is nice and makes it feel homey. I would definitely recommend the hilltop for both short and long stays. 😀

When we got there the man at the front desk was very very rude. I had called to ask about staying there for a week and one day he gave me the rate of $170 and the next day when I actually went in person he gave me the rate of $240. The rooms were clean which was nice and they were decent size. The motel definitely has an older feel to it but I don't think it affected my opinion at all.

Rooms are small and not well kept, they offer wifi but don't bother trying to connect to it cuz it barely works, air conditioner hasn't been serviced in God only knows how long let alone cleaned. This place is tolerable if you're in a rut but definitely for a short time.

This place is fine!! We stay here for horse shows. It is very retro, but clean. I think it's kind of nostalgic. I didn't feel unsafe - but then again, I live in Chicago. If you are expecting a palace for this price, well, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, this is just fine.

Bathroom was disgusting. Someone had used the toilet and didn't flush. There was hair from shaving all around the sink, the floor was sticky and had urine on it. There were still toiletries in the shower. And a can of single serving tuna on the nightstand complete with ants! IT WAS GROSSE!
