Hillside Cabin Rentals

Overall it was a nice getaway for me and my wife. Not as secluded as I would have preferred, but no one else was there so not a big issue. The skillet needs replaced and the couch is showing quite a bit of ware. Broken down in the middle section. Otherwise it was cozy and pretty nice inside.

Stayed in Cabin #4. It was a nice spot for access to local rivers and the Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park. The cabin was mostly well maintained and clean, and it provided what we needed to do our own cooking and laundry. One of the driers (communal between cabins) didn't dry our clothes well, and there were odds and ends details that needed a little maintenance. But overall, the cabin and grounds were kept up well and worked very well for us (needing 4 queen beds in the Ozarks). Owners were quite friendly and were busy repairing the (steep) driveway and cleaning up after a tornado came through. I would happily bring my family here again.

Our first stay. The provided amenities exceeded our expectations by far. Extremely clean. We have already started planning another trip, staying at these cabins, again. I would recommend to anyone planning on floating the area. Recommend calling or emailing days ahead of time to verify any questions you have, as the conformation email outlines.

2 nights at cabin #2. Alot of partially broken amenities. Stove missing/broken one burner. Satellite wouldn't work on the tv, had go buy DVDs for kids, and even then volume control wouldn't work. Grill is missing one grate and coal tray broken. Sofa has center part broken and caved in, cannot sit there. One window has broken glass. Yard had a used tire and part of broken toilet. WiFi had poor signal kept dropping out. Place was fairly clean. Had found a few utentinsil dirty and mouse dripping under sink. I think a little maintenance on the property would have improved our experience. Feel like its overpriced for it's current condition.

We stayed in cabin 3 for a cute but simple romantic getaway. It's perfect for just that. Justin provides just about everything. We only had to bring food and firewood. There was charcoal and lighter fluid there, but both were under half so thankfully we had brought some. It's right at the edge of town so not super secluded as you can hear the cars on the roadway. However, it was still very quiet and peaceful as it is a very small town. The cabin itself is fairly handicap accessible. Gravel parking right against a porch to the front door. Standing shower with a built in seat. Level deck with chairs and grill. Just a couple steps down to firepit. Lots of places to visit and explore nature that works for everyone. I really can't say enough about it. It's a wonderful place that we will be retu
