Yesterday I got caught on the top of the same hill as this place and trapped due to a flood and I went in here and asked for directions and sense I wasn’t able to get out and it was an emergency these angles gave me a shelter some blankets and food sense they thought we would be there a few days and I can’t say how thankful I am for these people they were nice 110% of the time the shelter was great and the people all around were extremely helpful and welcoming when I was making it out of the hill they told me to call them so they know I was safe and I have to say these are certainly without a doubt the best people I’ve met in life so far.
My husband and I have our 5th Wheel set up for full time living at this RV Park spending our fall/winters there and summers in the far PNW. Monthly rates are manageable for full time renters and we feel at peace knowing our rig is safe and protected while we are away. Under the new management, this park has undergone lovely renovations and upgrades in services, appearance and the quality of staff. Manager, Shelly and assistant, Carol are very conscientious about the quality and overall maintenance of this park. You can count on the staff to assist you and your family/friends/visitors in making your trip here worthwhile. The Texas shaped pool is beautiful and well maintained making it inviting for swimming when temperatures allow. You can always depend on the grounds mowed and cleaned
The housekeepers seem to have a good work ethic, and general care about their job. The other staff are okay for the most part, but the manager, Karen (who calls herself 'The Administrator'), is likely the most unprofessional and incredibly rude manager of a hospitality-based business I believe I have ever met in my life. I had the audacity to point out the dangerous dog breeds I saw wandering around the park, both without leashes (a Belgian malinois, and a pit bull). This elicited a dismissive handwave and a tacit response of 'They're not causing any problems.' I then pressed the issue, and told her that they weren't leashed (which is a stated policy here). She then got an annoyed tone, and told me 'They're fine: leave it alone.' as if I worked for her, when I was a paying guest. The next
My wife and I discovered HCRV&EC 4 years ago while being on the road full time RV’ing. After spending just a few days here we realized that we want to plant roots here. ||I have read good and bad reviews, but I have to say that Karen and Scott do their best to keep everyone in the park happy. We all have good and bad days and for someone to judge on a single experience is just wrong.||Our park is a happy welcoming community. Management is a tough job when you think about trying to keep so many guests and full timers happy. We feel Karen achieve’s this goal.||Our park sponsors many events from wedding and family reunion’s as well as several motorcycle club get togethers.||Please walk in managements shoes before casting hateful nasty comments.||Happy here,||Bob & Diane
We stayed for the weekend and it was VERY nice! The kiddos loved the game room with the pool tables, ping pong, and board games. We also loved the pools, especially the separate 1 foot deep pool for the little ones. Management is extremely friendly. Front area is open even after hours for access to everything you want. We even rented a movie for $1 when my little one couldn't find any cartoons on cable. It was convenient and close to the General Store and Apple Store (yumm!). We will definitely return!
