Customer Reviews
I stayed there because it was the only motel I saw leaving San Saba, big mistake. The sheets were not changed out. you could small the body order on them. Good thing I had a blanket in my truck. the door didn't have a secure lock on it and the coffee pot had old grins in the pot. I was too tired to drive any father. I was dead tired. I didn't realize that Lampasas was only 30 miles up the road. GPS told me it was 1 hr. Never will stay there again.
This was not the best place to spend a night. The smell of the mattress alone was traumatic. Smelled like rot and pet urine on top of the smell of the room it's self, which held a raw mixture of mildew, urine, sweat, and musk. The TV didn't work, the top lock on the door was busted off,the tub was disgusting and even the key to the room was dirty. The carpet was stained and so filthy that you could feel the dirt on it just walking across it. The microwave was full of crud, the coffee pot was filthy...in fact, the room looked like it never got serviced after the last guest left. Even the sheets and the quilt were filthy. The smell of the place was so bad that sleeping there was impossible. Sorry to say but this place, for the price of the room, was Highway robbery. If you can avoid this dump, please
For 67.00, it had everything that we look for. It was quiet. Since there was no pool (at least I didn't see one), it was quiet. We parked right outside our door. The air conditioner cooled the room. The tv and the remote worked. I never use hotel internet, so I can't comment on that. The carpet was stained, but the room smelled clean and the bathroom was clean. The room had not been smoked in which is important to me. There were no parking dogs. Woohoo! The beds and pillows were comfortable to us. It was easy to check in and out.
The room was clean and well stocked. A/C worked extremely well. Our truck had broke down and was in the repair shop for the day so we had no means to move about the town. The owner offered his personal time and drove me, my wife and 2 small boys into town to get breakfast and even came to pick us back up after we finished. Fantastic service and very friendly.
We were there for a family gathering. Had 6 rooms for 4 days. This is the worse place you would want to stay. Filthy…,shower curtain had mildew all along the bottom 8 inches, carpet was stained EVERYWHERE, Pillows looked like they were bought second hand at a garage sell. We don’t smoke but if you do that’s fine. Just odd they were non smoking rooms but the cleaning lady had a lit cigarette hanging out her mouth as she cleaned the rooms 😳 Our room was never cleaned. It was literally awful.
