Hilander Motel

July 2025 The room was pretty clean. The bed was not very comfortable. A little too hard for me. Had a mic and fridge. They had an ice machine, so I was able to fill my water container with ice. The check-in guy was kind and courteous. The area was quiet. The air conditioner worked well. We were just passing through and stayed for one night and the price was a lower cost than others.

Positive: The room was excrptionally clean. The staff very friendly and cordial Negative: I could not find the outlet to plug my 3prong extention for my laptop and cell phone.

Positive: No bed bugs, sheets were clean but things were very dated, but I told my ol man my grandpa would consider that place comfortable no doubt. Im not too picky, i just dont want bug in my bed. The bed spread has holes, ants came in thru the Crack in the door Negative: The old Bedding, the crack in the door allowing the ants in.

My fiancé and I were driving from Bend OR, and had made made a reservation at motel 6 in Burns, which B had booked through bing.com a completely disastrous company. I certainly do not recommend using them. After paying for the reservation, apparently it didn’t go through and we had a terrible time trying to find anywhere from Burns to Boise to stay. There is a rodeo and everything was booked. Even the few rooms that were available were completely overpriced ($400). After spending hours trying to find a place we found the Highlander motel. They were so incredibly lovely and accommodating us to get a room at 5:30 in the morning. The stuff was terrific. The owner fabulous the room was clean and provided every essential you need for a motel stay. The location was great as it is right off the
