Highway 27 Fishing Village

We haul our camper out every year and always have a great time. 4-5 different families from our “hometown” come out and spend spring to fall at 27! The owners are fantastic, prices are super affordable and the grounds are great! Easy lake access and great location.

Stayed here with a group to dig crystals. Management very easy to work with. Much to my surprise the bed was extremely comfortable which I complete was not expecting from a fishing cabin based on precious life experience. These are old cabins but clean and pretty well maintained. Only complaint I would have is maybe power wash the deck and picnic table at unit 4 where we stayed because there seemed to be old grease and yuck and I really didn’t want to sit or eat off the tables which was a bummer. All in all a nice quiet clean place to stay close to crystal digging and I would go back again!

My husband and I along with a friend, son and daughter in law went here for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend. We all agreed that everything was perfect here. The cabin met our needs perfectly. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The lake view is beautiful. We would definatley bring a boat next time though. Fishing from the shore is limited and they only have one boat available to rent. We didn't catch much of anything but we really enjoyed our stay here. We will definatly be back!

We were going to stay 2 wks but decided to go elsewhere bc there are not any showers or a dump station to the best of our knowledge but possibly near the trailer park. If you're looking for a beautiful and peaceful area then this could be your spot. No discounts but price is right, $12 a night. Water available but might need 100' hose to connect. Electric available too. Lake access is good.
