Highlands RV Park

Ownership is rude. My father lives here. I called to be let in to see him and was yelled at and hung up on. And then watched on camera and called back to be told I was speeding.

If you want a friendly quiet place to rest, park a few days or stay for some time, this RV park is for you. I highly recommend going here. They go beyond to make it a great stay. They treat you like family.

Edited 8/20/24 has advertised washer and dryers but only a couple actually work!!! It's a burden not having access to what's advertised!!!! Stumbled upon this great rv park for workers while looking for another. We stopped immediately and booked here. The owners we extremely nice and helpful even on a holiday. Has cable, wifi, Laundry and gated!!!! By far the absolute BEST one we looked at today. We looked at lots. 10/10 definitely recommend for workers.

My family, and I have been to other RV parks, but by far have found Highlands RV to be a hidden jewel. The owner keeps the place in prestin condition. It has free wifi, a laundry mat, and restrooms better kept than at an Loves Travel Stop. It is very safe with as a gated community, and most of the neighbors know each other as repeated visitors and residents. The owners will do everything possible and within reason to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. My family loved this place so much that we decided to stay two years while having our new home built. Given that the location is 11 miles from the beach, and 25 minutes from downtown Houston; it is the perfect spot to get the best of both worlds. We stayed at this park 2 separate times, some months apart and would definitely return. The restrooms are clean, and the laundry facilities are well maintained. The only issues were with the wifi working intermittently and the driveway had some issues, but the space and security outweigh those. The second time we visited the security got a little naggy about small issues that are listed nowhere in their rules, but it wasn't enough to ruin our stay. They work with you on everything and are very easy to contact. We will be back, I'm sure.
