Highland Lake Resort

I would highly recommend Highland Lake Resort. The setting on the lake is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful views that make it easy to relax and recharge. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed , and the staff make you feel very welcome. Being close to town is also a plus, with great little shops and restaurants nearby. All in all, it’s a wonderful mix of comfort, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality.

This place has just about everything you could want in a home away from home. There is a workout room, sauna, shower, a zen room with library, game room with a billiards table, and other game tables, laundry, snack bar when it opens in August, 2 fire pits, playground, lots of areas to sit and meditate, an enchanted forest, a beach, a swimming dock, a fishing dock, a boat dock and ramp, and kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards with the accessories and safety equipment. Staff is mostly friendly. There is an area with fruits trees and berry bushes that are dedicated to their past and present employees that all may enjoy.

This was a very good place to stay in Bridgton. We didn't have time to use any of the amenities and the cafe on the property had been closed just before we got there, sadly. Its a very clean and bright room, but not at all fancy. I thought it was a little expensive for what we got, but, saying that, I'd stay there again. The people had been nice about the reservations we scheduled. And, it was very quiet.

Wonderful family camp hotel!!! Our family loved the fire pit and canoes. We hope to return again! ||This hotel is a very comfortable place. Family friendly rooms with Maine atmosphere. The hotel overlooks an expansive lawn that slopes to a stunning lake. There are fire pits, swings and a very creative playground for children. I highly recommend this charming place for families. It was built with Love and you feel that everywhere here.

Nice motel with some amenities but not a resort in my opinion. Although my stay was in November, I could see that it would be a nice place during the summer months with access to the lake from main building for boating and swimming. A nice back lawn with seating and fire pits would be a great way to end the evening. But other than that, I did not encounter anything that I would consider calling this establishment a “resort”. My stay was pleasant, assigned a room in the smaller north annex. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. It was decorated very nicely and I did not hear the other guests. You can see the lake from the annex but I don’t believe you can get to it from that location. Lake access is from the main building area.
