This is by far the most unprofessional motel I have been to. Let me explain……I call to check pricing/deposits etc and they give me a standard $90 plus taxes and no deposit. I arrive and now the price has drastically changed to $113 plus $50 deposit. So I tell the manager or older Indian gentleman that I was told another price and he then tell me, we all have different prices. So, him, his son, wife etc will all tell you different prices to try to swindle you to a higher price. There is no consistency and no communication between the staff. They are also very rude and argumentative once I told them, I just spoke with someone and got a different price. Rooms and also below average. Not worth the hassle. Go for Howard Johnson or Motel 6. Horrible business!!!!
We were put in a room on the ground floor, which was nice. The room itself looked newly renovated, and we liked the nearness of the gas station across the street. The water got nice and hot, and had good pressure. There were plenty of lights so that you could choose what level of brightness you wanted in your room. Also, I have never seen a hotel or motel room that included deodorant which was really cool, and thoughtful. We did find a few dead bugs in our room which isn't horrible but a little disconcerting. The mini fridge that was in the room didn't really keep things cold; but the freezer section seemed to work. Our "neighbors" were a bit loud. Screaming about a dog outside at one point and then stomping their feet anytime they walked. That's obviously not the motel's fault, but it ha
The room smelled like stale bong water and cigarettes. Floor felt dirty, there were weird stains on the hangers. AC unit sounds like airplane engine. Price was fine and the toilet paper is 2 ply which was a plus.
We had a business booking error, and couldn't find a room this side of Primm for under $400 on a busy Saturday night. Saw the Highland Inn on Travelocity but weren't sure about the neighborhood or the "last room" deal. Someone at the Tourist Bureau suggested the Highland Inn as a clean, independently run motel. We weren't expecting much, but we found it roomy and clean with efficient A/C, comfortable bed, microwave & mini fridge, wifi & big flat screen TV. You can tell that the property has had a hard past life, but the owner has done an excellent job of replacing everything that matters so that it is a good experience for a good price. Sure there was a missing drawer pull, but there were also reading lights on both sides of the bed, which are often missing from top hotels. There were a co
I was looking for a place away from the strip. It was last minute finding; so I was blessed to get across with nice place. The Gentleman I the from was very nice and; and accommodating my need to check in at 7:30am. That was a great gesture from him and was priceless to me. I would definitely stay here again.
