High Country Motel and Cabins

Friendly staff, clean room, great location for entering Yellowstone NP. We stayed in the duplex room #5. Shared center wall with room #6 but our bed was located on the outer wall so we never heard our neighbors. Very comfortable bed. Small bathroom, but plenty of hot water. Price for the duplex seemed a little high but probably competitive for the area. We would definitely stay there again for the location and reliable accommodations though if it was again for a quick overnight we might opt for a less expensive motel room.

Like: The view of location is great. The decoration in front of cabin is nice. The cabin is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't Like: it is hard to adjust hot and cold water when taking a shower. Overall, it is really good. Highly recommend!

Nice little spot close to everything. Rooms were clean and the service was outstanding. Has it's quirks as expected, but it fits right in with the rest of Cooke City. Will stay again.

Cabins are pretty cool, as is staff. Extremely gracious people run this place.|I don't think there is a bad room or cabin, view or quiet wise. ||Very clean and maintained with much care. Stayed in a cabin with an ottoman that pulled out into a bed---pretty cool. As for 'main' bed, whoever made it knew what they were doing 😀. Both were comfortable.||It was like a perfect studio cabin. Shower and tub and toilet separate from the vanity, full kitchen (fully stocked), including a table to eat at, a TV, and you could park right at the door. Two chairs in the porch and excellent cross breeze with windows on three sides. Extremely quiet at night and really, no need for AC.
