Hideaway Oaks

Just returned from a quilting retreat at Hideaway Oaks. The facility is absolutely wonderful. The adjustable beds were the best! If you go to sew you might want to take a chair or at least a cushion. For us short people, the chairs were a little low. We are checking our calendars to plan a return trip.

We had a wonderful time visiting while making a king sized quilt for a family member. I have been to many different quilt retreat centers in Texas. This was the most beautifully appointed facility of any of them. The setting was beautiful too. We were surrounded by trees & wild flowers & had visits from deer, a fox & other wildlife. We could walk to a local quilt shop & we're an easy drive to the center of Wimberly. I'm site we will be back.

There aren't enough stars! What a wonderful experience we had at Hideaway Oaks! The attention to detail in everything was superb. From the fully stocked coffee bar and wonderfully outfitted kitchen and living space to the rooms with everything a guest could want. The beds were super comfortable and adjustable and the ensuite bathrooms nicely appointed and stocked. Everything was labelled to make it easy to find and the check in and out was smooth and easy. Stephanie and Bruce have created a beautiful, functional and magical place - a quiet, country retreat just minutes from the square in Wimberley. I will be telling all of my friends about this hidden gem!

We had a great time at Hideaway Oaks. If we had any questions or concerns they were taken care of immediately. The facility was nice. The beds were awesome. The wildlife we got to see was a great perk to our trip. We definitely will try to get another retreat booked there and will recommend to others.

The home is a beautiful and comfortable chic hill country getaway. In the country, and yet across the street from Wimberley Market Days. I was there for a quilting retreat, and the work area had the BEST lighting and amenities for sewing. Quiet and peaceful with wonderful porch seating, also. The kitchen and dining areas exceeded my expectations with all that was provided. The owners were quick to respond to any questions or needs. There is no doubt we will be back!
