Hidden Rest Cabins

Super cute, super clean, super comfortable and dog friendly cabins! Big shout out to Melissa who was so helpful, kind and accommodating. The common areas were really nice, as well, with horseshoes and bar-b-q 's and plenty of outdoor seating. We will definitely visit Hidden Rest Cabins next time we are in Show Low.

We had Cabin #4 for 3 nights to explore the area. Melissa is a perfect hostess. We like the location and the cabin was comfortable. This unit has a min-split so we were extra comfortable with that and the fan.

Dissappointed: "Hidden, Rest" gave me the impression it would be secluded. I was about 40 feet from a busy 4 lane highway. Cabin 7,was in a depression with the road about window height. The noise level was always between a dishwasher and a vacuum cleaner depending on the time. I eventually hung clothes, towels anything from the windows to dampen the noise. 10 gallon water tank meant the water ran cold in about 6 minutes. I "checked in" at 5:15, couldn't figure out the heating and locked myself out ( without my phone), taking the dogs out. Luckily my neighbors and a woman named Dawn came to my rescue. The woman who runs it during the day is OFF at 5. Pros: beautiful interiors, soft bedding; well appointed; the Christmas lights were nice. Maybe the other cabins are quieter.

Cabin #3 was very dirty- stains on carpet and in kitchen. The floor is on a slant, it was raining the weekend we were here and the floor on the side closest to the closet was wet. The bathroom shower at the floor was not sealed so the shower leaked, there were 2 towels for the weekend and they were damp.Thank goodness we brought our own. Picture is nothing like the website- big broken spa in the room that doesn't work.The property was nice, had a grill and an area for seating and parking near the cabin. Lots of things to do and see, great location just beware of Cabin #3. And lastly the $55.00 deposit was NON-refundable. We left that place clean.

My husband and I visited Pinetop-Lakeside over the weekend and stayed at Hidden Rest Cabins. The room and hot tub were clean and comfortable. Hidden Rest Cabins is in a good location while feeling hidden. The shower stall in the room we stayed in is a little small and there isn’t a fridge. However, that’s not a big deal for us. We look forward to staying again when we visit the area.
